Onion Herb Focaccia Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 16-ounce package hot roll mix | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or basil, crushed | ||
| 3 tablespoons olive oil or cooking oil | ||
Directions
Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions, kneading dough and letting it rest as directed.
Divide dough in half.
Shape each half into a ball.
On a lightly floured surface, roll or pat each ball of dough into a 9-inch round.
Place in 2 greased 9x1 1/2-inch round baking pans.
Cover dough.
In a skillet cook onion and rosemary in oil until onion is tender but not brown.
Using your fingertips, press indentations into dough.
Spread onion mixture evenly over dough.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until nearly double (20 to 30 minutes).
