Onion Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 4 Medium | |
| Red chillies | 6 , dried | |
| 1 small piece of tamarind | ||
| Jaggery | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| A large pinch of asafoetida | ||
| Curry leaves | 2 | |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Peel and cut the onions into thick slices.
2. Grind all the ingredients on the left to a rough paste along with the onions.
3. Heat the oil and add the seasonings. Now add the ground mixture and fry on low heat until the oil comes to the surface.
