Onion Cheese Round Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 7-ounce packages refrigerated onion crescent flaky rolls | ||
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 , Well beaten | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
On lightly floured pastry cloth, unroll one package rolls; pinch perforations together.
Unroll second package rolls; lay on top of first; pinch perforations together.
Roll all into 18" by 8" rectangle; sprinkle evenly with cheese; then roll lengthwise, jelly-roll fashion; brush edge with beaten egg; seal.
Lay on lightly greased cookie sheet; brush one end with beaten egg; form into ring; seal.
With scissors, from top, make diagonal cuts almost through ring about 1 inch apart, all the way around; turn each slice slightly outward from center of circle; brush with beaten egg.
Bake 35 minutes or until golden brown.
