Olives Romano Recipe
I have a recipe which is very near and dear to my heart and that is of Olives Romano. Olives Romano served as Side Dish is the best food to pep me up. You do not need to be a gourmet to make out how appetizing and tasty this dish really is.
Ingredients
1/4 pound cheddar cheese, grated fine
1/2 pound butter
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
20 to 24 small stuffed green olives
Directions
Blend cheese and butter in a blender.
Add the flour and pepper and continue blending until smooth.
Chill.
Drain olives on absorbent paper.
Pinch off small amounts of cheese dough and press around each olive.
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes at 400°, or until brown.
Make these ahead of time and keep in the freezer to bake when needed.
