Ingredients
2 cups sliced raw mushrooms
1 1/2 cups canned sliced ripe olives (a 5 3/4 -oz. can)
1 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tsp. oregano, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
1/8 tsp. powdered cloves
1 cup olive oil

Directions
Gently toss to combine well 2 cups sliced raw mushrooms, 1 1/2 cups canned, sliced ripe olives, drained, and 1 cup sliced celery.
In a separate container or jar, mix 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 1 teaspoon each oregano, crumbled with fingers, and salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper and 1/8 teaspoon powdered cloves.
Mix well, add 1 cup olive oil and stir or shake vigorously.
Pour over vegetables, tossing to coat well.
Let stand at room temperature at least 1 hour.
Chill before serving on lettuce.
