Olive & Cheese Squares Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe olives | 1 Can (10oz), chopped | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Mayonnaise | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Green onions | 2 Small, finely chopped | |
| Seasoned salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 12 slices white or wheat sandwich bread | ||
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine olives, cheese, mayonnaise, onions and seasoned salt; set aside.
Preheat broiler if necessary.
Place oven shelf 3 to 6 inches from heating element.
Cut crusts from bread; reserve crusts for another use.
Lightly toast bread.
Spread about 2 tablespoons olive mixture over each slice.
Cut each slice into 4 squares.
Arrange squares on an ungreased baking sheet.
Broil until topping bubbles, 2 to 3 minutes.
