Old Virginia Ham With Red-Eye Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
1Ige. 1/2-in. thick ham slice
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. strong coffee
Directions
Slash fat on edge of ham in several places.
Place ham in hot skillet; brown quickly on one side.
Turn; brown lightly on other side.
Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender.
Remove from pan; place on heated platter.
Sprinkle salt in hot skillet; add cof- fee.
Boil for 2 minutes.
Pour over ham.
Serve with biscuits.
