Ingredients

 Butter5 Tablespoon
 Cooking Apples – 2 ½ cups, cut into ½ inch slices
 Sugar7 Tablespoon
 Dark brown sugar1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Ground cinnamon1 3/4 Teaspoon, divided
 Walnuts2 Tablespoon, finely chopped
 Broad Noodles – 2 ½ cups, cooked and drained
 Sour cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cottage Cheese – 1 ¼ cups, sieved
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Eggs – 2, well beaten

Directions

MAKING
1) In a heavy skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add in the apples and sprinkle in 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
2) Stir the apples till they are well coated and cooked for about 8 minutes
3) Add in the remaining brown sugar, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and the buts and mix well
4) Spread the mixture in a greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan
5) Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the cooked noodles and toss to mix well
6) Add in sour cream , creamed cottage cheese salt, eggs and the cooked apples with the liquid and mix well
7) Layer the noodle mixture in the pan
8) Bake in the pan for 50 minutes till done
9) Once out from the oven, sprinkle in the sugar and 1/8 teaspoon of the cinnamon over the top

SERVING
10) Serve the dish immediately with some good vanilla ice cream
