Old-Fashioned All-Purpose Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Tomato juice | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Prepared mustard | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/3 Bottle (1l) | |
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic salt | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Pepper | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dash of cinnamon | ||
| Dash of paprika | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Combine the tomato juice, mustard and vinegar in a large kettle and whisk to blend; or combine in a covered container and shake vigorously to blend, then pour into a large kettle.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, sugar, garlic salt, pepper, cinnamon, paprika and salt; stir well.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Let cool.
Chill in a covered container until ready to use.
Use only as much as needed.
