Ingredients

 4 portions or whole fish
 Onions3 Small, sliced
 Apples2 , chopped
 Cider1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Bay leaves2
 Lemon

Directions

Sprinkle salt and pepper over the fish and put into a greased ovenproof dish.
Place all the onions and apples, over the top of the fish and pour over the cider and bay Jeaves.
Bake in a moderate oven 375°F (190°C) for about 30 minutes if fillets and 35 minutes if whole fish, or until done, is dish is suitable for trout, whiting and mackerel.
