Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler Recipe

Directions
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Beat into egg mixture.
Combine peaches, remaining 1/2 cup sugar and spices.
Put in greased baking dish (12x8x2 inches).
Top fruit with batter, spreading smoothly.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for 30 minutes, or until crust is crisp and golden brown.
Serve hot with cream, with custard, or with hard sauce.
