Old Fashioned Homemade Lemonade Recipe Video

I will show you how to make lemonade from scratch the old fashion way using just 3 ingredients, real lemons, sugar and water. It doesn't really matter which type of lemons you use but my favorite is the Meyer lemon because it tends to be sweeter.

Directions

MAKING
1. In a pot dissolve water and sugar, once done turn off the heat and let it cool; place the pot on a bowl of ice cubes to cool it down faster.
2. In the meantime cut the lemons in half and squeeze the lemons juice in the juicer.
3. Once done combine the lemon juice and water add the simple sugar and stir, adjust the sweetness as per your taste.
4. Once done keep it in the refrigerator to chill and add the ice cubes before serving.
5. For the strawberry lemonade, blend the strawberries in a blender and then strain the juice, using a strainer.
6. Add the strawberry juice to the lemonade and serve with ice cubes.

SERVING
7. Serve the lemonade chilled.

TIPS
Instead of regular water ice cubes you can make the lemonade ice cubes by simply pouring the lemonade into the ice cube tray and using them instead of regular ice cubes.
