Old Fashioned Ginger Snaps Recipe

2 1/2 cup flour
 
2 tsp. soda
 
1 tsp. cloves
 
2 tsp. cinnamon
 
1 tsp. ginger (candied ginger can be added, very good)
 
3/4 cup shortening
 
1 cup sugar
 
1 egg
 
4 Tbsp. molasses

Directions

Roll in balls.
Dip in sugar and cinnamon mix.
Bake at 350° about 15 minutes.
This recipe has been in one family over 100 years.
