Old Fashioned Classic Apple Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Pastry crust | 1 (2-crust 9" pie) | |
| Apples | 6 Cup (96 tbs), sliced (peeled) | |
| Sugar | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Cinnamon | 1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon |
Directions
Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon; mix well.
Turn into pastry-lined pie pan.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust; cut vents.
Flute edges.
Bake in 400° oven 45-50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.
