Old Fashion Peach Cobbler Recipe

Old Fashion Peach Cobbler is the perfect addition to your dinner spread! I serve this well lovely and addcitive Old Fashion Peach Cobbler for my husband during our wedding anniversary and he loved it! Try it!

Ingredients

 
1 cup orange juice
 
9 fresh peaches, or 6 cups frozen sliced peaches
 
1 cup granulated sugar
 
1 tablespoon cornstarch or tapioca starch
 
1 tablespoon cinnamon
 
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
 
4 tablespoons butter
 
1 recipe Simple Flaky Crust
 
1/2 gallon good-quality vanilla ice cream

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400° F.
Put the orange juice in a large mixing bowl.
If using fresh peaches, peel and slice.
Place the peach slices in the bowl with the orange juice to prevent discoloration.
In a small bowl, stir the sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon together.
Drain the peach slices and add the sugar mixture and vanilla to the bowl; stir well.
Spray a 9 x 1 3-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Spoon in the peach mixture.
Cut the butter into little chunks and dot throughout the peach mixture.
Roll the crust out to a 9 x 13-inch rectangle and place on top of peaches.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake until the crust is puffed and browned, 30 to 40 minutes.
