Okra Southern-Style Recipe
Okra southern style is a mixed vegetable preparation. Cooked together with bacon and added creamed corn, this okra lousiana is easyto fix and delicious. Ready in a matter of minutes, this goes well with bakes or rice casseroles.

| Okra | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Onion | 1 Large, finely chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 6 , chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 , diced | |
| Hot red pepper | 1 To taste, diced | |
| Creamed corn | 1 Pint | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Fry bacon; when crisp, drain on paper towel.
Saute okra in hot bacon fat to seal edges.
Add onion and celery; saute until onion is transparent, not brown.
Add tomatoes, peppers, salt, and pepper; cook 3 to 5 minutes.
Add corn; simmer 20 minutes.
