Directions
GETTING READY
1) Arrange the ingredients.
MAKING
2) In 2-qt, casserole prepare okra.
3) Microwave the okra until tender-crisp.
4) Drain if any juices are there and reserve that liquid to be used in place of wine.
5) Mix cornstarch with small amount of liquid from the stewed tomatoes until smooth.
6) Add cornstarch and tomato liquid mixture to okra with remaining ingredients; stir well.
7) Cover the casserole.
8) Microwave at High 7 to 8 minutes, or until thickened and bubbly, stirring once or twice during cooking.
SERVING
9) Serve the Okra creole as side dish.
