Okra And Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 cup okra, sliced crosswise | ||
| 1/2 cup Butter Buds®, optional | ||
| Tomatoes | 3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Hot Sauce | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup corn, cooked, optional | ||
Directions
1. Wash okra. Do not cut off stems or tips of pods, but slice the pods thickly into rounds.
2. Boil in 1/2 inch water for 10 minutes. Cover the last 5 minutes or Cook the okra in a large nonstick skillet with Butter Buds® until tender.
3. Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 5 minutes. Do not overcook.
