Ingredients

 Apple-flavored gelatin - 1 box (3 ounces)
 Hot water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1/8 Teaspoon
 Dates - 1/3 cup, coarsely chopped pitted
 Nuts - 1/3 cup, coarsely chopped pitted
 Red apples - 1 cup diced unpeeled
 Pears1 Cup (16 tbs), unpeeled
 Mayonnaise1 Cup (16 tbs) (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)
 Rice vinegar1 Tablespoon (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)
 Melted butter or sesame oil - 2 tbsp
 Powder - 2/3 tsp garlic
 Ginger powder1/2 Teaspoon (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)
 Paprika1 Teaspoon (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)
 Soy sauce1 Teaspoon (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)
 White sugar4 Tablespoon (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)
 Scallions1 Tablespoon, chopped (Ginger mayonnaise dressing :)

Directions

GETTING READY
1. To make the Ginger Mayonnaise dressing:
2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients together well and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

MAKING
3. In a pan of hot water dissolve gelatin.
4. Add salt and dates and chill until mixture is slightly thickened.
5. Fold in nuts and fruit, pour into 5-cup mold and chill until firm.

SERVING
6. Unmold on salad greens and serve with Ginger Mayonnaise Dressing.
