Oatmeal Shortbread Recipe
These oatmeal shortbread are cookies like bakes made with oatmeal and flour along with walnuts. Made with a dough of flour, sugar and butter, this oatmeal shortbread recipe is egg free and very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in 1 Tbsp hot water | ||
| Oatmeal | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Mix and drop dough by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly with fork.
Bake 15 minutes in oven at 300°F to 325° F.
