3 c. flour
2 c. shortening
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. (packed) brown sugar
Directions
Combine oats and flour; blend in shortening, cream- ing well.
Add salt, brown sugar and 1/4 cup cold water; mix well.
Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly floured surface.
Cut with cookie cutter.
Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
