Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe
oatmel raisin cookies are delightfully chewy and delcious cookies made with oatmeal and raisins. Flavored with cinnamon and ginger, these oatmeal raisin cookies are baked with buttermilk, flour and eggs. Fresh from the oven they can be served with a warm glass of milk.
Ingredients
3/4 cup white flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup SweetLite Fructose
1 egg
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 cup raisins
Directions
Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and oatmeal.
In another mixing bowl, cream together the margarine and Sweet Lite Fructose.
Beat in egg until smooth.
Add the buttermilk and the mixture of dry ingredients.
Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Stir in the raisins.
Drop from a tsp.onto a greased cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake at 350 degrees F until nicely browned, about 20 minutes.
