Oatmeal Muffins Recipe
I love this Oatmeal Muffins recipe for it provides me such rave comments every single time I cook it. The Canadian Oatmeal Muffins has a way of addicting you to it on the first bite. Best enjoyed as a Snack this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. You must try this recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons shortening
1 cup rolled oat's
1/3 cup seedless raisins
1 egg, beafen
1 cup milk'
Directions
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, and cut in shortening.
Stir in rolled oats and raisins, and add egg and milk, stirring just enough to dampen dry ingredients.
Do not overstir.
Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full, and bake at 425°F. 15â€â€25 minutes.
Makes 12â€â€14 muffins.
