Oatmeal Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons butter or fortified margarine | ||
| Onion | 1 Large, diced | |
| 3 cooked carrots, diced | ||
| Split peas | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Tomatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups cooked oatmeal | ||
| Water | 1 Quart | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Melt the fat, add the onion, and cook until browned.
Add all other ingredients and cook for 20 minutes
