Ingredients

 Quick oats1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Boiling water1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Margarine stick1
 White sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs2
 Flour1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Soda1 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon2 Teaspoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Vanilla1 Teaspoon
 Nuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar1 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping:)
 Margarine stick1/2 (Topping:)
 Coconut
 Nuts
 Milk (enough to make topping spreadable)

Directions

Mix oats and boiling water.
Let stand while mixing rest of ingredients together.
Cream both sugars with margarine; add eggs.
Add the rest of the ingredients, including the oats.
Mix well and bake at 325 degrees (glass pan) or 350 degrees (metal pan).
Use a 13x9" pan.
While cake is still warm, spread with topping.
