Simple Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter stick | 1 , softened | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| 1/4 cup light molasses | ||
| Flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Rolled oats | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Raisins | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, egg, and molasses with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
2. Beat in flour mixed with baking soda and salt until dough is smooth, scraping down side of bowl frequently with a rubber spatula. Fold in oatmeal and raisins.
3. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cookies cool 2 minutes on sheets, then remove to racks and let cool completely. Store in a rightly covered container.
