Oatmeal Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Butter | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White Karo syrup - 2/3 cup | ||
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Oatmeal | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pie shell | 1 | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
MAKING
2) In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the filling. Mix well.
3) Into the unbaked pie shell, pour this mix.
4) Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the crust is firm.
SERVING
5) Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream. You can also top the pie with chopped pecans.
