Oatmeal Banana Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 6 Tablespoon, softened | |
| 1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar | ||
| Ripe bananas | 1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats | ||
| Golden Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dark raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Toasted slivered almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square pan. In a medium bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add mashed bananas, egg, and salt and beat until well blended.
2. Stir in oatmeal, golden and dark raisins, and almonds. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool on rack completely before cutting into 12 bars.
