Oatmeal And Raisin Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
1/2 tsp (2ml)salt
2 cups (500 ml) rolled oats
1/4 cup (60 ml) wheat germ
3/4 cup (180 ml) butter
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
3/4 cup (180 ml) grated coconut
3/4 cup (180 ml) raisins
Directions
– Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
– Lightly butter cookie sheets.
– In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, rolled oats, and wheat germ. Set aside.
– In a separate bowl, cream butter and add brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
– Add to first mixture and stir well.
– Add coconut and raisins.
– Spoon mixture onto cookie sheets and bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
