Nutty Bran And Whole-Wheat Muffins Recipe
Healthy nut and bran whole wheat muffins are the perfect choice to satiate the middle-of-the-day snack craving. Baked with chopped nuts, and bran and wheat mix, this muffin is filling and healthy. You can always add more nuts or rasins to make it tastier.
Ingredients
41/2 cups BRAN AND WHOLE-WHEAT MIX (see recipe above) 1.125 L
11/4 cups water 300 mL
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup chopped nuts 125 mL
Directions
In a large bowl, combine mix, water, egg and nuts.
Stir just to moisten.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and dry.
