Ingredients
1 12-ounce package brown rice
2 chicken-flavor bouillon cubes or envelopes
tablespoons butter or margarine
3 large celery stalks, sliced
2 large onions, diced
1 8-ounce can walnuts toasted and chopped
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
1. In 3-quart saucepan, prepare brown rice as label directs, adding bouillon.
2. In 12-inch skillet or 5-quart Dutch oven over medium heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook celery and onions until tender, stirring occasionally. Remove skillet from heat; stir in toasted walnuts, sage, pepper, and cooked rice. Use to stuff 12- to 16-pound turkey. Or spoon stuffing into 13" by 9" baking dish; cover and bake in preheated 325°F. oven 45 minutes or until heated through.
