Nut Truffles Recipe
Ingredients
| Toasted hazelnuts | 185 Gram | |
| 185 g/6 oz dark chocolate | ||
| 155 g/5 oz icing sugar | ||
| Egg white | 1 | |
| 1 tbls orange liqueur or rum | ||
| Ground hazelnuts or cocoa powder, to finish | ||
Directions
Grind the hazelnuts finely.
Chop the chocolate into a small bowl; heat gently over a pan of simmering water until it melts.
Mix the ground nuts, icing sugar, egg white, liqueur or rum in a bowl then add the chocolate mixture.
Stir to blend thoroughly and chill for at least an hour.
Shape into small balls and roll in ground hazelnuts or cocoa powder.
Store in the refrigerator, covered.
