Nut Shortbread Recipe
Ingredients
| Soft butter or margarine - 1 cup | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| All-purpose flour - 2 1/2 cups, sifted | ||
| Nuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix throughly using hands.
2 Let the mixture chill.
3 Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
4 Cut using 1 1/2 inch cookie cutters.
5 Bake in preheated slow oven 300°Fahrenheit.for 20 to 25 minutes.
SERVING
6 Makes about 2 dozens, serve as desired, Store airtight.
