1 cup butter, softened
 
3/4 cup sugar
 
3/4. cup firmly packed brown sugar
 
3 eggs
 
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
 
1 teaspoon baking soda
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 
1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
 
1 cup chopped pecans
 
2 cups seedless raisins

Directions

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at low speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture, beating 1 minute.
Stir in vanilla, chocolate morsels, pecans, and raisins.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
