Norwegian Country Loaves Recipe

| Whole wheat flour | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs) |

Directions
1)In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in milk and add 1 1/4 cups molasses, salt and margarine.
2)Slowly fold in rye flour and whole wheat flour.
3)Add enough flour to make stiff dough and mix until smooth.
4)Shape into 2 oblong loaves.
5)Take greased baking sheets and put the dough into them.
6)Allow to rise until doubled in bulk.
7)In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons molasses with 1 tablespoon water and brush on loaves.
8)Sprinkle some whole wheat flour and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until well browned.
9)Wrap each loaf in a towel and cool.
SERVING
10)Serve the Norwegian Country Loaf sliced with butter.
