Norwegian Salmon Recipe
Norwegian Salmon tastes good. Norwegian Salmon tastes better with sauce topping. Norwegian Salmon is easy to make dish.
Ingredients
1 3-4 lb whole salmon
1/4 cup coarse salt
1/2 cup dill, chopped
2 oz cognac
Juice of 1 lemon
Water
Sauce
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper
Parsley, chopped
Directions
Slice salmon in half lengthwise.
Remove backbone.
Do not peel skin.
In a dish, place salmon cut side up.
Rub coarse salt into fish.
Sprinkle with dill, cognac and lemon juice.
Cover bottom of dish with water, surrounding but not topping fish.
Refrigerate 2 days.
Turn over salmon.
Stir marinade.
Refrigerate 2 more days.
In a bowl, mix sauce ingredients.
Carve marinated salmon into diagonal slices.
Spoon sauce over fish.
