Directions

Place prunes in a saucepan, cover with hot water, and let stand for 1 hour.
Place over low heat and simmer until soft.
Remove pits, then return prunes to cooking water.
Add honey, salt, cinnamon, and boiling water.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with cold water to make a smooth paste.
Add to prune mixture and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add lemon juice.
Pour into a large serving dish and chill.
