Ingredients
1/2 (4-oz.) can baby corn, drained
1/2 lb. Chinese cabbage
Seasoning sauce:
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon pepper
5 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 (4-oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 (4-oz.) can sliced bamboo shoots, drained
1/2 (4-oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Directions
Slice baby corn with a cleaver.
Chop cabbage into 1-1/2-inch squares.
Combine ingredients for seasoning sauce in a small bowl; mix well and set aside.
Heat oil in a wok over high heat 1 minute.
Stir-fry garlic until golden, 30 seconds.
Add chopped cabbage.
Stir-fry 1 minute.
Add sliced baby corn, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts.
Stir-fry 1 minute.
Add seasoning sauce to vegetables.
Stir-fry until sauce thickens slightly.
Sprinkle with sesame oil.
