Noodles With Fresh Tomato Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 pound thin noodles | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 1 large, red, ripe tomato, about 3/4 pound | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
Bring enough water to boil to cover noodles when added; add salt.
Core and peel tomato; cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
Drop noodles into boiling water; cook until tender.
Heat 1 tablespoon butter in saucepan; add tomato and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook about 1 minute; stir occasionally.
Drain noodles; serve with tomatoes spooned over.
