Noodles with Crispy Meat Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1 | |
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups slivered cooked beef or pork roast | ||
| Parsley | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon each oregano leaves and pepper | ||
| Boiling salted water | ||
| Tomatoes | 2 , chopped | |
| Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
Cut fresh pasta into medium-wide noodles about 10 inches long.
In a wide frying pan over medium heat, combine olive oil and butter.
Add meat and cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is crisp and browned (about 5 minutes).
Add parsley, basil, salt, oregano, and pepper.
Cook just until parsley begins to turn limp.
Cook noodles in a large kettle of boiling salted water until al dente (1 to 2 minutes for fresh noodles, or follow package directions).
Drain noodles and turn into a shallow serving bowl.
Spoon sauce over noodles and toss lightly.
Garnish the top with tomatoes.
