Ingredients

 Miso- 1 1/2 cups or Cooked or Canned Lima Beans or Chick Peas- 1 1/2 cups
 Vinegar2 Tablespoon
 Beer2 Tablespoon
 Soy sauce2 Tablespoon
 Oil1 Tablespoon
 Onions1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Beef broth6 Cup (16 tbs)
 Turnips1
 Pork1/2 pound
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Egg noodles2 Cup (16 tbs), cooked
 Shrimp (optional)- 1 cup diced cooked

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Puree the beans in a blender or force through sieve.
2) Scrape and remove the puree in a bowl, mix in the vinegar, beer and soy sauce.
3) Let the mixture rest for 1 hour.

MAKING
4) In a saucepan, heat oil and sauté onions for 2 minutes.
5) Stir in the miso or the bean mixture, broth, turnips, pork, aslt and pepper.
6) Simmer for 15 minutes.
7) Add noodles and shrimps if using and cook for 3 minutes more.

SERVING
8) Serve hot in a warm deep bowl plate.
