 Plain flour6 Ounce

 Peanut oil1 Tablespoon
 Water0.5 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Turn the flour on to an enamel tray or enamel-topped table and make a well in it, deep enough for the remaining ingredients.
Drop in the egg, the oil and the water.
Begin to mix together with the tip of a finger, bringing the flour in circles into the centre.
As you do this, you may find that a little more water is required but be very sparing with it.
When the ingredients have been thoroughly combined, work them together to a smooth dough.
Using the heel of the hand, knead the dough out a little and fold it over and over until it is really pliable.
Place it in a plastic bag and leave it to rest for a little.
The dough is now ready to be rolled out.
Cut as required for any dish in which it is needed.
