No-Sugar Plum Jam Recipe

The no sugar plum jam is a low calorie jam made with plums and friut pectin. Sweetened with a low calorie sweetner, the no sugar, plum jam is prepared by cooking and can be frozen and stored up to a year.

Ingredients

 Ripe plums24
 Powdered fruit pectin1 3⁄4 Ounce
 Powdered low calorie sweetener1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Directions

Coarsely chop plums in food processor; drain excess juice.
Place in heavy 3 quart saucepan.
Stir in fruit pectin.
Cook 15 - 20 minutes, stirring constantly, until fruit is of desired thickness.
Remove from heat; stir in sweetener.
Ladle into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
Adjust caps.
Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
Cool.Or,cool and store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.
