No Noodle Lasagna Recipe

No Noodle Lasagna is a mouth watering side dish. An easy to prepare lasagna recipe wont let you forget its taste forever. So, give it a try and squander its taste!

Ingredients

 
1 lb ground beef 500 g
 
1 medium onion, chopped
 
1 clove garlic, crushed
 
1 tsp oregano 5 mL
 
1/2 tsp thyme 2 mL
 
1/2 tsp salt 2 mL
 
1/4 tsp pepper 1 mL
 
5 1/2 oz can tomato paste 156 mL
 
1 cup water 250 mL
 
1 stack pack soda crackers
 
1 cup shredded Gouda or cheddar cheese 250 mL
 
1 cup creamed cottage cheese 250 mL

Directions

Brown meat.
Stir in onion; cook until transparent.
Blend in seasonings, tomato paste and water.
Line a well greased baking dish with soda crackers.
Cover with half the meat mixture.
Reserve 2 tablespoons (30 mL) shredded cheese; sprinkle remainder over meat.
Spoon half the cottage cheese over shredded cheese.
Reserve 2 soda crackers; place rest of the crackers side by side over cottage cheese.
Spread with remaining cottage cheese and then meat mixture.
Crush 2 soda crackers, mix with reserved shredded cheese.
Sprinkle on top to garfish lasagna.
Bake at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes.
