Ingredients

 Seedless raisins1 Pound
 Pitted dates1 Pound
 Dried apricots1 Pound
 Shredded coconut1 Pound
 Shelled walnuts1 Pound
 Salt1/4 Tablespoon
 1/4 cup rum, cognac or bourbon
 1 t.vanilla extract

Directions

Chop coarsely raisins, dates, apricots, coconut and walnuts in food processor or food chopper.
Empty mixture into a large mixing bowl.
Add salt, vanilla and liquor.
Blend well.
Spoon and pack the mixture into a mold or molds, or 2 6-cup loaf pans.
Cover with foil and place a weight on top.
Refrigerate 3 days or keep in a cold place to "age".
Serve thinly sliced.
