Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 325°.

MAKING
2) In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
3) In another bowl, sift together dry ingredients.
4) Alternately add 1 1/2 cups sour milk with sifted dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
5) Fold in raisins.
6) Use a 8 x 8-inch greased pan to pour the batter.
7) Place the pan inside oven to bake for 30 to 40 minutes in a glass pan.

SERVING
8) Ice the cake with butter icing and serve.
