No Bake Date Balls Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups corn, wheat, or bran flakes | ||
| Pitted dates | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pecans and walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, softened | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
1. Put the corn flakes, dates, and pecans into an electric blender or a food processor, and whirl just until well chopped. Or crush the cereal with your hands, and chop the dates and nuts with a knife.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cereal mixture with the honey, butter, and lemon juice. Knead until well mixed, then roll into 1-inch balls.
3. Sprinkle the sugar on a sheet of wax paper, and roll the balls in the sugar. Store in an airtight container.
