New Year's Eve Party Cheese Ball Recipe
The new years party cheese ball is a peppy mixed cheese ball made with cream cheese, blue cheese and cheddar cheese. Beaten and combined together and flavored with cayenne pepper, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion powder, the new years party cheese balls also have pecans in them.
Ingredients
2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
1/4 lb. blue cheese
1/2 lb. Extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. cayenne pepper
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1 c. chopped pecans
Directions
Allow cheeses to reach room temperature, then combine in a mixer bowl and beat until well blended.
Add Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder.
Add 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans.
Chill, then shape into a ball and roll ball in remaining pecans.
Chill thoroughly.
Serve with assorted crackers and fresh fruits such as seedless grapes and apple and pear slices.
Freeze if desired.
