New England Nutmeg Sauce Recipe
The new england nutmeg sauce is a cooked sauce made with nutmeg, butter and sugar. Prepared with a little flour, the nutmeg sauce is a sweet and savory dessert sauce, that can be used with puddings and cakes.
Ingredients

| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Boiling water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Salt | 1 To taste |
Directions
MAKING
1.Mix well the sugar, flour and a pinch of salt.
2.Add boiling water gradually, stirring continuously.
3.Then add the butter and cook for five minutes.
4.Remove from the fire and stir in the nutmeg.
SERVING
