New Zealand Sweet Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Caster sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rind of 1 lemon | ||
| 2 tabs. cornflour | ||
| Juice of 2 lemons | ||
| Whites of 2 eggs | ||
Directions
Bring all ingredients, except egg whites, to the boil together to thicken.
Remove lemon rind, and allow mixture to cool.
When nearly cold fold in the stiffly beaten whites of egg.
Put in a mould, chill, and serve with cream.
